The Maverick’s Roundup is the story of a man who overcame debilitating illness and poor education to follow the Call of God across three States of Australia.
 
Bruce travelled as an itinerate preacher amongst the Aboriginal camps along the bank of the River Murray as it meandered through South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.
Bruce faced many life threatening situations. He observed, ‘Fear is a warning system that God has built into us. We can walk in faith and still have the daylights scared out of us. A man is a fool if he is not careful.’
 
That fact that Bruce is alive today is evidence that he exercised care even though trembling within.As an ordained Pastor, Bruce continued to work from an open toolbox as a Jack-of-all-Trades. His motto was to reach the man in the street just as his Biblical counterpart Paul did in New Testament times.
